Scope of Practice

 

Through the Woods Psychotherapy is a team of licensed psychotherapists based in Ontario, Canada, practicing within the scope of our profession and in accordance with the standards and guidelines established by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

Confidentiality

 

All information shared with us during sessions will be kept confidential and will only be disclosed with your written consent, except where required by law. Please note that there are certain circumstances where we may be required to disclose information without your consent, such as in cases of suspected child abuse, harm to self or others, or where required by a court order.

Fees and Payment

 

The fee for psychotherapy services will be discussed during our initial consultation and may vary depending on the type and length of the session. Payment is due at the time of each session and can be made by cash, credit card, or e-transfer. If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice or you may be charged for the missed appointment.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

 

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. If you fail to show up for a scheduled session without providing notice, you may be charged for the missed appointment.

Termination

 

Either party may terminate the psychotherapy relationship at any time for any reason. If we determine that we are unable to provide you with the services you require, we will make reasonable efforts to refer you to another qualified therapist.

As licensed psychotherapists, we are committed to maintaining professional conduct at all times. If you have any concerns about our conduct or the quality of our services, please bring them to our attention so that we may work to resolve any issues.
